Fair

My friends Jereme and Melodi invited me to join them at the fair tonight and I eagerly said yes because I like to be busy.... I should have thought about it a little more before I said yes... The Fair was really a place Kenny and I had a lot of landmark events in our relationship... One of our first dates was at the fair (with a group of friends), we celebrating our dating anniversary there almost every year, we got engaged there.... ugh 

My other concern was money. I am on a budget now and everyone knows how expensive the fair is... 

I car pooled with Jereme and Melodi, we walked over to the Fair and loaded up ride cards (woo hoo for $2 rides!). The very first ride had a sign "No Single Riders" I seriously almost started crying.... I quickly decided I needed to make a joke of it and texted the picture to my cousin Kenny and said, "Isn't this discrimination" He said haha too bad he wasn't there with me... Melodi decided she didn't want to ride this ride and let me ride with Jereme. I really think she didn't want to ride, but I am afraid she just didn't for my sake... SPEED is the best ride at the fair!! 

We tried to ride as many rides as we could handle while waiting for the rest of their friends (Jenika, Ryan and two girls) to show up.

Melodi rode with me on the people mover (Jereme rode alone) as the last ride of the night. It was really pretty out. We talked and talked... I wish I would have seen the friend in her sooner. I am blessed to have such great friends.
